I contribute more regularly in Tamil Wikipedia and Tamil Wiktionary. My user page can be seen at Selva at Tamil Wikipedia. I have almost no knowledge of Hindi, but because I did my M.Tech from IIT Bombay (now Mumbai), and I can read and understand Hindi and Marathi,- but only very very little and very very slowly. I can compose and type in Devanagari with the active help of the tools that are available, and so I dare to be here :) The first word I added was Tamil equivalent அம்மா to the entry word "माता" in Hindi. I am familiar with Wikipedia and Wiktionary and so I should not mess up anything seriously here. However, please keep a watch on me until I gain more experience. When in doubt I will be asking the help of more experienced Hindi wiktionarians, for sure. Please forgive me if I write my comments in English (as my knowledge of Hindi is next to nothing; but will be learning actively). I plan to check out Tamil words and learn new Hindi words.
